Website Migration and Hosting

We host WordPress, static websites, and PHP-based sites, and we move them when they need to leave the host they are on. We assess the fit during a consult. Keep your designer. We handle the hosting.

For your website

Bring the current host, the site, and a note about email. We confirm the fit with you, and we sort out what the move involves.

Current host, site, and email

We look at where the site lives today, how it is put together, and whether mail on the domain needs to move with it. That is what the consult is for.

Hosting, and the move

We set up hosting and coordinate the changeover. Scope and timing are agreed with you, so the work matches the site you actually have.

Email, if you want it

Mailboxes on your domain are optional. Hosting does not include them unless we add them. When email is part of the work, we set up the mailboxes, spam filtering, and email authentication.

Keep your designer. We handle the hosting.

The person who knows your content keeps the site work. On a WordPress site, that is the WordPress work. We take the hosting. If you do not have a designer, we still host the site, and we move it when that is part of the scope.

How a move starts

A short path from the first conversation to hosting that is actually in place.

  1. Tell us about the site

The current host, the site itself, the timing you have in mind, and whether email needs to come along.

  2. We review the setup

We look at the host, the site, and any email that depends on the domain, and we confirm the fit.

  3. We agree the scope

What is included, who does what, and when. Hosting can stand on its own, or it can include the move and email.

  4. We host, and we coordinate the move

We set up the hosting and coordinate the domain changeover when a move is part of the scope.

Hosting, while you keep the site

For designers and agencies

Hosting only is a normal way to work with us. You keep the design, the content, and the client relationship. We handle the hosting. WordPress, static websites, and PHP-based sites are the sites we take on when the consult shows they are a fit.

If the project needs mail on the domain, we can add mailboxes, spam filtering, and email authentication. If it does not, hosting stands on its own.

  • You keep the client relationship

Your client keeps working with the designer they already have.

  • You keep the site

Content, design, and the site work stay with you. On a WordPress site, that includes the WordPress work. Hosting is a separate job.

  • We handle the hosting

Setup, DNS, and the cutover. We agree that split with you before the work starts.

Tell us about the site

Bring the current host, the site, the timing you have in mind, and whether email should move. We will agree the scope from there.
